However, Babar Azam and Ian Cockbain made great recovery after that as the duo added 74 runs for the third wicket. Ian Cockbain played a valuable 31-run knock off 19 balls but couldn’t convert that into a big score.

Babar Azam, however, fought hard and played till the end. He made 90 runs in 63 balls, a knock which had 12 fours and 1 six. But, he didn’t receive support from the other end as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. In the end, Karachi Kings fell 9 runs short of the target.
