Former England captain Michael Vaughan has continued to with his instigating tweets on social media, this time praising the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) T20 tournament and then singled out some aspects that other T20 leagues in the world do not possess.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) was founded in September 2015 and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had to host its initial season in 2016 in United Arab Emirates (UAE) as many foreign players refused to come and play in Pakistan due to security reasons. Eventually, the league was moved to Pakistan in later years and since then it has been hosted in-country.

The league is often compared to neighboring India’s India Premier League (IPL), which predates the PSL by 8 years and there is a huge gap pertaining to the amount a player is paid, both regarding home players and foreign cricketers, who have sometimes preferred IPL over PSL when the two leagues clashed.
