Kieron Pollard to miss PSL 2024 game to attend Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant's wedding festivities

All-rounder Kieron Pollard is set to miss the upcoming match for Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) game. Kieron Pollard will not be part of the team for the game against Multan Sultans due to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities.
Renowned Indian and international celebrities are attending the pre-wedding festivities of Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The Ambani family is organizing several events between Friday (March 1) and Sunday (March 3).
Kieron Pollard was a pivotal member of the Mumbai Indians (MI) team that clinched five Indian Premier League (IPL) titles. He now serves as the batting coach for MI in the IPL. He is also part of the MI Emirates, MI Cape Town, and MI New York teams in three T20 leagues.
Kieron Pollard Set To Miss PSL 2024 Match
Kieron Pollard is currently representing the Karachi Kings team in the ninth edition of the PSL. The all-rounder is the leading run scorer for his PSL franchise this season, having scored 196 runs in five innings at an outstanding average of 98 with a striking rate of 161.98.
The legendary West Indies cricketer will miss the match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans, scheduled to be played at the National Stadium in Karachi on March 3. However, he will return to the squad for their game against the Quetta Gladiators on March 6.

Pollard took to Instagram on Saturday, sharing pictures with his wife Jenna as they both wore black outfits. In the caption, he expressed delight at being part of a special occasion.

Pollard emphasized his pride and honor in representing the franchise for 13 seasons, expressing gratitude for the opportunity. He stated that although he intended to continue playing for a few more years, discussions with the Mumbai Indians led him to retire from the IPL.
“It hasn’t been the easiest decision to make as I intend to keep playing for a few more years, but following discussions with Mumbai Indians. I have decided to call time on my IPL career,” Pollard stated.
“I understand that this incredible franchise, which has achieved so much needs to transition and if I’m no longer to play for MI then I cannot see myself playing against MI either, ‘Once an MI always an MI’.”
“I am immensely proud, honored and blessed to have represented the biggest and most successful team in the IPL for the past 13 seasons.”
During his time with MI in the IPL, Pollard appeared in 189 matches, scoring 3412 runs in 171 innings at an average of 28.67 and a remarkable strike rate of 147.32. Additionally, he contributed with the ball, taking 69 wickets at an economy rate of 8.79.
