South African Cricket Team registered a thumping victory against India. South Africa won the match by 49 runs and bowled out India. The pitch at Indore was flat as there was hardly anything for the bowlers. The visitors avoided humiliation which would give them a huge relief. South Africa showed that they are a force to reckon with despite two back-to-back losses.

Temba Bavuma would be quite happy with the team’s performance. But there are still concerns over his form as once again the right-handed batter was dismissed cheaply. It looks like the batter is trying a bit too hard. We should not forget that Bavuma is returning to International Cricket after an injury as making a comeback is always tough.

South Africa had scored a mammoth 227 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Rilee Rossouw was in a beast mode where he smashed a terrific century and stunned the entire crowd. Quinton de Kock finally attacked in the power-play overs and smashed a half-century and made a statement that he can be lethal at the start too.

Indian Cricket Team would be dejected as none of the batters got a big score on board. It looked as if the batters were too much aggressive. It seems that the batters have forgotten the importance of taking singles as smashing boundaries all the time is not a sustainable option.

A Win like this is Always Good for Confidence- Temba Bavuma

During post-match presentation Temba Bavuma was quite pleased with team’s performance:

A win like this is always good for confidence. We struggled with the bat in the first game, our bowling wasn’t best in the last game, but we were clinical today. A lot to take from this game”

He also compared the other two T20Is match and was happy with the result:

“We didn’t turn up with the bat in the first game. In the second game, we couldn’t execute our plans. We were a lot clear in the field today, it was a lot more clinical performance today.”
