BCCi’s selection for ICC T20 World Cup 2022 has raised a lot of eyebrows. The Selection Panel would be hoping that their decisions don’t backfire as now the billion people desperately want Men in Blue to win ICC T20 World Cup 2022. It has been 15 years since India hasn’t won the T20 Tournament.

The Men in Blue would be aware of the 2021 edition where they were humiliated as the team got bowed out in the first round itself. Since that, a lot has changed as now there is new management so is the captain. The duo of Rahul Dravid & Rohit Sharma has seen good & bad days as now they know how to tackle any challenge.

Ravi Bishnoi on Sunil Gavaskar’s support

Ravi Bishnoi was seen interacting with SportsTak and said what it means to hear from Sunil Gavaskar. “If he(Sunil Gavaskar) is backing me, then he must have seen something in me. And you get a lot of confidence from such greats who have ruled the world of cricket. It becomes meaningful.” Bishnoi said.

“Yes, IPL had given us this opportunity to share the dressing room with big stars. But sharing the Indian dressing room with the starts who you watched on TV, ek alag hi feeling thi(it was different).” He added.

A Good Bunch of Spinners

Indian Cricket Team is blessed to have a big pool of spinners. Ravi Bishnoi who is only 22 years of age has got a place in the reserves of the T20 World Cup 2022. The leg spinner can be more lethal in the future as he knows how to deceive the batter.

India would be grateful that the likes of Ashwin & Jadeja are still present as they can guide the players and help them in tough situations. Ravindra Jadeja would be disappointed for not being a part of the side due to an injury, but the team has got a like-to-like replacement in the form of Axar Patel who can be quite threatening on the given day.
