India and South Africa face off in the fourth T20I in Rajkot on June 17. India won the third T20I in Vizag to keep the series alive. South Africa is still leading the series 2-1 heading into the fourth game. Both teams need to win the final two games to win the series.
India and South Africa have played a competitive series so far. Though the scoreline might say something different at the moment but the contest has been pretty even. Barring India’s loss in Cuttack, both the two games were evenly contested. The way the Indian bowlers made a comeback in the third game was good to see.
South Africa have been hit by injury concerns at the wrong time in the series. Aiden Markram is ruled out after contracting covid and the management is monitoring Quinton de Kock‘s wrist injury. Both teams went unchanged in the previous game which came as a surprise to many. South Africans can make changes to their playing XI in the next game.
India especially have a chance to test out a few players but decided to go with the same XI. With two must-win games remaining, it will be interesting to see what changes they make to their playing XI.
