Dodda Ganesh, a former Indian pacer, has sarcastically advised left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav not to take many wickets since it increases the likelihood that he will be benched.

For the second ODI of India’s home series against Sri Lanka on January 12, Kuldeep took Yuzvendra Chahal’s spot. Many were impressed by the wrist-bowling spinner’s prowess as he claimed three wickets while only giving up 51 runs from his allotted 10 overs.

Due to intense competition among players, Kuldeep Yadav has been in and out of the team. But he makes sure to draw attention to himself whenever he has the chance.

The Chinaman bowler recorded 3 for 51 in 10 overs on Thursday during India’s ODI victory over Sri Lanka in Kolkata. The Men in Blue dismissed the guests for 215. KL Rahul’s valiant 64-run innings from 103 deliveries in response helped the side win the series again.

Kuldeep won Player of the Match for his efforts. Fans, though, were interested to see if the leg-spinner would receive another. He made a comeback last month, picking up an eight-wicket match haul in the Chattogram Test.

Despite putting on a game-winning performance, he was benched for the final Test, which infuriated the fans of the sport.

Dodda Ganesh’s Hilarious Suggestion To Kuldeep Yadav:

Former India cricketer Dodda Ganesh chastised the team management for not providing Kuldeep with a long rope. Ganesh wrote on his Twitter account,

“Kuldeep, enough man. Don’t pick so many wickets. With 3 wkts already the odds of u being dropped for the next match are really high.”

Although the internet community found it amusing, the former cricketer made a valid point given the treatment Kuldeep has had in recent years. The leg-spinner, though, has persisted in his grind and put a lot of effort into improving his physical condition and technical proficiency.
