Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) Head to Head

The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is Tamil Nadu's premier T20 competition. It is held annually and is organized by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).

After Chennai Super Kings were suspended for two years in 2015 due to corruption charges, the TNCA founded the TNPL. The first edition of the tournament was played in 2016. A total of eight teams participate in the tournament at present. 

The eight teams are - Chepauk Super Gillies, Dindigul Dragons, Lyca Kovai Kings, Nellai Royal Kings, Salem Spartans, Siechem Madurai Panthers, Trichy Grand Cholas and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. According to the existing rules, a team can have a maximum of 20 players including 2 outstation players.

Chepauk Super Gillies are the most successful team in the competition's history with 4 titles, followed by Lyca Kovai Kings who have won the competition twice so far.
