Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2025 Cricket Teams
The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a franchise-based T20 tournament. It is played annually in Tamil Nadu and is organized by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).
The first season of the tournament was played in 2016. A total of eight teams participate in the tournament. The tournament is played across five venues. The competition follows the format of a league stage followed by playoffs and the final.
Tuti Patriots won the first-ever edition of the TNPL in 2016 while Chepauk Super Gillies are the most successful team with four titles.
TNPL Teams:
Eight city-based teams participate in the TNPL at present. The teams are allowed to have a maximum of 20 players including two outstation players. Chepauk Super Gillies (4) and Lyca Kovai Kings (2) are the only teams to win the tournament more than once.
