The Australia Cricket Team, led by a new skipper in Pat Cummins, have been ruthless in the ongoing Ashes 2021-22 series. Impressive performances with both bat and ball helped them beat England in the first three Tests comprehensively and, thereby, take a 3-0 lead in the series.

However, Australia couldn’t win the fourth Test as it resulted in a draw. Nevertheless, Australia would be keen to continue their fine showing and look out for the fourth Test win ahead of the fifth and final match of the series. Here’s a look at our predicted playing eleven of the Australian Cricket Team for the fifth Test match.

Marnus Labuschagne hasn’t been able to score impactful knocks in the last two Tests. However, he isn’t in a bad form either. One can expect him to come good in Hobart. Steve Smith played a vital knock of 67 runs off 141 balls in the last Test.

He hasn’t scored a hundred in the entire series. The fans would be hoping that he gets one in Hobart. Travis Head missed out on the last Test match as he was contracted with Covid-19. The Australian has recovered fully and will be making his return to the playing XI.
