IND vs PAK: 3 Indian Batters With The Most Runs Against Pakistan

The IND vs PAK rivalry is back with the Asia Cup starting in the UAE from August 27. The big match will be played in Dubai on August 28. India and Pakistan are placed in group A along with the qualifying team. Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are placed in group B.

Both the boards have announced the squads. Both teams have named formidable squads with senior players back in the side. Babar Azam will lead Pakistan and Rohit Sharma will lead India. 3) Sunil Gavaskar – 2689 Runs In 44 Matches

Former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar ranks third among the Indian batsman with the most runs against Pakistan. He played international cricket between 1978-1987 an era which is considered the most difficult for batsmen as they were still playing the game without helmets.

In this era, The original Little Master faced some of the fastest bowlers of his time. He had a special liking against Pakistan against whom he scored more than 2600 runs including five centuries and 18 fifties.

2) Rahul Dravid – 3135 Runs In 73 Matches

Another former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid ended his career as the second highest run-getter in Test cricket for India and among the only few Indian batters with over 10000 ODI runs. He had a special liking for Pakistan as well. His highest Test score of 270 was against Pakistan in Rawalpindi in 2004. Overall, he scored more than 3000 runs across formats with seven centuries and 17 fifties.
