Veteran Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah has issued a strong warning to his team ahead of the critical match against India.
Virat Kohli’s form has been one of the main talking topics ahead of India’s anticipated match against archrival Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2022 opener on August 28 at the Dubai International Stadium in the UAE.
Despite his bat difficulties and several international game absences since the IPL 2022, Kohli has been selected for the major competition.
Since the IPL 2022 season ended, Kohli has only played in the tour of England, where he made 12 runs in two T20Is and 33 runs in the same number of ODIs before being rested for the tours of the West Indies and Zimbabwe.
Experts and veterans were taken aback that Kohli missed so many international games despite his troubles, even though his performance has been criticized by many.

However, the 33-year-old has been selected for the Asia Cup event, where India will begin their campaign against Pakistan in Dubai.
Yasir told Paktv.tv, “Do not take Virat Kohli easily.” Yes, he is out of form because he is having difficulty scoring runs, but he is a world-class player who can return to form at any time.”
Kohli enjoys playing Pakistan, especially in T20I matches. He has already scored 311 runs at an average of 77.75 with three fifty-sixes in seven innings. In this competition, no other batter has even scored 200 runs.
In Group A of the Asia Cup, the defending champions and seven-time winners India are paired with Pakistan and a qualifier.
The top two teams from each group go to the Super Four, where Pakistan and India are likely to square off once more before the top two teams in this division move on to the championship game. In no Asia Cup final have India and Pakistan ever squared off against one another.
