Sri Lanka are also the only team that has played in all the 16 editions of the Asia Cup so far.
Eight different teams have played in the Asia Cup so far. The number will increase to nine in 2025 when Oman make their debut in the continental championship.
The upcoming Asia Cup 2025 will be the 17th edition of the Asia Cup. The highly-anticipated tournament will be played in the UAE from September 9 to 28. The tournament will have a total of 19 matches. The games will be played across two venues - Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Eight teams will be participating in Asia Cup 2025. The teams are - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong and Oman. The teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 4s.
