Former India captain Virat Kohli reached yet another milestone in his glittering career as he became the second highest run-getter for India in international cricket, going past current head coach Rahul Dravid during the third T20I between India and Australia in Hyderabad on September 25, 2022.

The two sides met in the series-deciding T20 international at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal after Aaron Finch’s side won the first T20I in Mohali, while Rohit Sharma led from the front as India won the rain-shortened game in Nagpur two days back.

Australia batted first after Rohit Sharma extended his toss-winning streak and revealed that Bhuvneshwar Kumar came back in for Rishabh Pant, while Finch said that Josh Inglis was in for Sean Abbott.
