Indian Cricket Team would be aiming to keep the winning run against the Aussies. The 2nd Test match at Delhi on 17th February most likely is expected to be a rank-turner. In the 1st innings, Marnus Labuschagne had got a start and was looking ominous before Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him for 49 runs.

The Australian batters need to stick to the crease as in India playing aggressive cricket is quite tough. The likes of Steven Smith & David Warner need to guide the likes of Alex Carey as the left-handed wicket-keeper batter was seen playing a lot of reverse-sweep & sweep shots which outdone him in both innings.

Marnus Labuschagne seen keeping wickets

Australia’s star batter Marnus Labuschagne surprisingly don the wicket-keeping gloves in the net session ahead of the Delhi Test match. Perhaps, the Aussies want to experiment in the 2nd Test match. Labuschagne in his short career has become the pillar of Australia’s batting lineup for quite some time now.

Riveting Contest on Cards

It is assumed that Aussies would make wholesale changes for the 2nd Test match. Head Coach Andrew McDonald had hinted that Matthew Kuhnemann has got a life chance. There are chances that Cameron Green & Mitchell Starc would play the Test chance. It won’t be wrong to say that these many changes can disturb the dynamics of the team. Not many teams have made a comeback in India after losing the opening Test match except England who won the Test series by 2-1 in 2012.

The spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin & Ravindra Jadeja would be quite thrilled after wrapping up the match. The left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav will have to wait for his chance as Axar Patel’s invaluable knock of 84 runs in the 1st innings was quite decisive. Skipper Rohit Sharma throughout the Test match looked like a man on a mission where he marshaled his troops smartly.
