On Thursday, December 8, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the complete schedule for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, and reportedly the 4th Test match of the series will be a day-night contest.
The 4th Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is the world’s biggest cricket stadium with a crowd capacity of 132,000.

Meanwhile, Cricket.com.au reported that the 4th Test match of Australia’s first men’s Test series in India in six years could be a day-night contest that will be played with a pink ball.
“It has been reported the Ahmedabad Test (March 9) could be a day-night match played with a pink ball. The last Test at that venue was played under lights when England lost to India inside two days in early 2021,” as quoted by Cricket.com.au.

The last day-night Test at Narendra Modi Stadium was played between India and England in February 2021. Indian spinners Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin dominated in that game and helped the Virat Kohli-led side win the match by 10 wickets inside two days.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 To Be The Last Four-Test Series Between India and Australia
Meanwhile, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 will be the last four-Test series between the teams. According to the International Cricket Council’s Men’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), the future Australia-India Test series will include five matches.
