Usman Khawaja gave a brilliant start to the team with his 71 runs at the opening slot. Later, Cameron Green slammed a 77-run knock to help Australia out past Sri Lanka’s total. Australia bagged a 109-run lead in the 1st innings.

In the 2nd innings, Sri Lanka’s batting fell like a house of cards. Nathan Lyon and Travis Head bagged 4-wicket hauls to crush Sri Lanka to just 113 all-out. The 5-run target was just a formality for Australia and they managed to grab victory by a huge margin of 10 wickets.
