Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh admitted that he and Cameron Green are unlikely to feature together in the upcoming Test match in the fourth match of the Ashes 2023. Mitchell Marsh highlighted that only one of him and Cameron Green can be included in the playing XI for the next match.

Mitchell Marsh was included in the playing XI instead of the injured Cameron Green for the third Test. Marsh, who played his first Test since 2019, made the most of the opportunity and excelled with both the bat and ball. He scored a hundred in the first innings and took two wickets in the match.

“I don’t want to comment on it too much. Ultimately that stuff is out of my control. I’ve got a very, very close relationship with ‘Greeny’. He’s a fantastic young kid. He’s learning on the go and we know what a super talent he is.

It’s important for him to be in our side. We’ve seen how important he is for our side over the last couple of years. We’ll just have to wait and see,” he added.
