Vaughan, during the show, stated that it has been an amazing week for the Bangladesh side as it remains their greatest-ever Test win in history. As the former English captain mentioned, a journalist stated it was the biggest upset.
Vaughan said, "It’s been a tremendous week for Bangladesh. Oh my! What a week. Their greatest-ever Test victory. Ever? I reckon one of the biggest-ever upsets. While replying to Vaughan’s comments, Phil Tufnell stated that England should have played the aggressive cricket that Bangladesh played against Australia, as the Three Lions were completely outplayed in the last Ashes as they lost 4-1 in the series. He believes the performance shown by the Bangl
Phil Tufnell reminded about England’s loss in the Ashes, saying, "Should have been us. Should have been us." Vaughan said, And that was Australia’s first team."
Tufnell said, "I know. It should have been us. That’s why we all came back from there so annoyed, because we thought that should have been us. You know what I mean? That performance should have been us."
England set for a comeback against Pakistan
England are winless in their last three series. Post the series loss against the Kiwis, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) sacked Brendon McCullum from the head coach role and appointed Stephen Fleming as the new head coach.
They will look to dominate Pakistan as a three-match Test series is lined up from Thursday. The first Test match is scheduled at Headingley, with Joe Root yet to lead the side once again in the traditional format.
