Delhi Capitals takes on Kolkata Knight Riders in the reverse fixture of IPL 2024 in Kolkata on Monday. DC are heading into this game after beating Mumbai Indians in their last game. They won against GT in the game before MI.

Delhi Capitals managed to defend their total of 257 against Mumbai Indians, something that KKR could not do against Punjab Kings. They now have won back-to-back games against GT and MI.

DC lost against KKR in the first game in Vizag. However, this time around, they are better prepared. They have a better bowling attack seemingly at this point as opposed to KKR and the team can look to expose the team's bowling woes.

Heading into this game, they have injury concerns for David Warner and Ishant Sharma. Both of the players did not play the last two games against GT and MI. DC have more skillful bowlers at this point than KKR who are heavily reliant on the spin of Sunil Narine. It is the bowling attack and the skill that might be the difference in the end result.

Prithvi Shaw did not play the game against MI. Porel opened the batting in his absence and scored 36 off 27 balls. He might continue to open the batting. Previously he was used as Impact Sub.

Shai Hope

With no Mitchell Marsh, Shai Hope has h=got his chances. He might bat at three He scored 41 off just 17 balls against MI with just five sixes.

Rishabh Pant (C/WK)

DC skipper Pant should bat at four. He scored 29 against MI and is placed second on the run-soring list with 371 in 10 games at a strike rate of over 160.

Tristan Stubbs

Stubbs will bat at five. He scored 48 off 2 balls against MI and has been striking at over 190 in this year's IPL. He is a brilliant fielder to boot.

Axar Patel

Axar Patel will slot in at six. He has found some runs with the bat in the last few games and has been as economical as ever. He has taken seven wickets so far this season and scored at a strike rate of over 120.

Kumar Kushagra

Jharkhand batter Kumar Kushagra was picked in the XI in place of Prithvi Shaw. He did not get his chance to bat but might just keep his place in the side.

 Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav will slot in at eight. He was expensive in the last game against Mumbai Indians going for 47 off his three overs. He has a good record against the KKR big-hitters. He has picked up 12 wickets this season so far.

Khaleel Ahmed

Khaleel will be one of the two Indian bowlers in the DC lineup. He went for 45 off his four overs against MI and has picked up 12 wickets in the season so far.

Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh Kumar will be the second Indian pacer in the XI. He has picked up 12 wickets in the season so far. He has picked up wickets but has not nailed his death-bowling skills in the last few games.

Lizaad Williams

South African pacer Lizaad Williams concludes the likely DC XI. He replaced his Protean teammate Anrich Nortje who has not been in the best of form in this IPL season.

Impact Sub-Rasik Salam

Rasik Salam might be the Impact Sub used by the Delhi Capitals. He has excelled at that role picking up three wickets in the last match against MI.
