That’s my role, go out there and score as many as I can - Jake Fraser-McGurk
Jake Fraser-McGurk was one of the main reasons behind Delhi Capitals posting a massive total on the board. The batter played a sensational innings of 84 runs off just 27 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 311 and also hit 11 fours and 6 sixes in his innings.
Jake Fraser-McGurk talked about his innings, saying that it is his role to go after the bowlers and get as many runs as possible. He talked about how he generates power. While speaking to broadcasters after the game, he explained:
"That’s my role, go out there and score as many as I can and get the team off to a nice start. Not at all, if I get ones and twos it’s probably off the last ball of the over or if I mis-hit it. It’s something I’ve always had, getting that base right and having the right stance. There’s a lot of timing involved in it. The ones that you mis-hit, you need to have a strong core, upper body and glutes as well," he concluded.
