New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham is one of the wittiest cricketers on social media.
Time and again, the New Zealand all-rounder comes up with witty replies, leaving everyone in splits.
Neesham is currently plying his trade for defending champions Mumbai Indians but with the defending champions already boasting of first-choice overseas players like Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult, and with them including rookie pacer Marco Jansen in the playing, the seam-bowling all-rounder is warming the bench.
But that hasn’t stopped James Neesham from upping his social media game.
Recently, the Mumbai Indians squad spent time on the beech following their win over Kolkata Knight Riders in what was a nerve-wracking encounter.
Neesham took to his Instagram account on Friday where he posted a picture of himself and Chris Lynn enjoying themselves in the water.
The all-rounder captioned the pictures with a hilarious caption in which he took a dig at himself for not getting game time.
‘Either Carrying Water Or Sitting On It’- James Neesham wrote.
James Neesham featured for Punjab Kings in the last season but following poor performances, he was subsequently released by the KL Rahul-led franchise.
He was subsequently picked by the five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the mini-auction as a backup for Kieron Pollard. Having said that, it is unlikely he’ll get a game unless Pollard or any other first-choice overseas player gets injured.
