Young all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar came up with a sensational performance for Goa in the game against Karnataka during the Dr (Capt) K Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament. The son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar came up with a match-winning effort for his team and helped them gather important points.

Arjun Tendulkar warmed up pretty well for the upcoming domestic season as he bowled his heart out against Karnataka in the tournament, which comprises mostly U-19 and U-23 players. He picked up nine wickets in the game as Goa registered a massive 189-run victory.

Arjun Tendulkar made a great impact on his team in the first innings. The left-arm pacer came up with a superlative effort as he picked five wickets and returned with the figures of 5/41 in 13 overs. His effort with the ball saw Karnataka getting all out for just 103 in 36.5 overs.

In response, Goa came up with a gigantic effort with the bat. Abhinav Tejrana slammed a sensational century with the bat and ended with an innings of 109. Manthan Khutkar also slammed a vital half-century, ending up with 69 runs. Their effort powered the team to a total of 413 runs on the board.

Tendulkar then made sure he delivered another great spell for his team in the second innings. He returned with the figures of 4 for 46 in 13.3 overs. Thanks to his effort with the ball, Goa bundled out the opposition for 121 in 30.4 overs and won the game by a massive margin of 189 runs.

Arjun Tendulkar has played 13 first-class games, picking 21 wickets

Tendulkar has been toiling hard in the domestic season for the last few years. The left-arm fast bowler has played 49 competitive games across three formats at senior level and has been decent with a ball, picking 68 wickets with the ball.

Tendulkar has also played 13 first-class games and also has picked 21 wickets. The son of Sachin Tendulkar also has been decent with the bat as he slammed crucial runs for his team while batting down the order. He also moved to Goa due to a lack of opportunities in the team.

Apart from the domestic circuit, Arjun Tendulkar also has featured in the Indian Premier League. The left-arm pacer has played for Mumbai Indians in the league. He has been with the franchise for a long but didn't get many opportunities for the team due to the team combination.

But in the limited opportunities that Tendulkar has got, he hasn't lived up to the expectations. The all-rounder played 4 games for the team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and picked 3 wickets in the season. He then played one game in 2024 and didn't pick a wicket.
