Indian Premier League is all set to entertain cricket fans with the 14th edition of the league. IPL 2021 will start next month with the first match scheduled to be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium on April 9, 2021. Mumbai Indians will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match of IPL 2021. With IPL 2021, the tournament returns to India after a gap of nearly two years.

IPL 2021 will observe slight changes in the format. Instead of eight venues, only six venues will host all the matches in IPL 2021. Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai are the six venues that will host all the IPL games in IPL 2021. Each team will only travel three times during the group stage in IPL 2021. Moreover, all the matches will be played at a neutral venue and no team will get the home advantage.

Hitting a century in an IPL game is a very tough job for a batsman. However, when a batsman hit a century in an IPL match, he becomes the limelight of the match and registers his name in record books. So far, only 36 players have managed to hit a century in the Indian Premier League. Some of these centuries were quickfire knocks as batsmen took very few balls to reach their hundred. Here we look at 5 batsmen who have hit the fastest century in the Indian Premier League.
