Indian middle-order batsman Shahrukh Khan has been bought by Punjab Kings for INR.5.25 Crore in the IPL 2021 Auction. Sharukh Khan is a young middle-order batsman who represents Tamil Nadu in the domestic circuit. He made his List A debut on 27 February 2014, for Tamil Nadu in the 2013–14 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 6 December 2018. He was named after the Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan. Shahrukh made his T20 debut where he smashed an 8-ball 20 in a losing cause for his team. The introduction of TNPL gave him a new lease of life and Shahrukh was picked by the Trichy franchise and he had a tournament to forget.

Sharukh has been sold to Punjab Kings for 5.25 Crore rupees in the auction. There was a massive bidding war between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore for Sharukh in the auction. First up, RCB and Punjab Kings went at each other with full spears and eventually, Punjab Kings won the war.
He has played a total of 5 first-class matches and scored 231 runs at an average of 33.00 and has the highest score of 92 not out in first-class cricket. He has also played a total of 20 List A matches and scored 286 runs at an average of 35.75. He has the highest score of 69 not out in his List A career.
