The IPL 2020 is in the first quarter. All the franchises are still to play their opening fixtures with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) set to take on Rajasthan Royals later in the day, in the hot and humid conditions in UAE.

IPL 2020 will be played entirely in UAE due to the pandemic situation forcing the cricket board to host the tournament away from India. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah will be the three venues used for the tournament.
