Australian speedster Pat Cummins is expecting his first child with fiancé Becky Boston. Cummins is currently in India playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The bride-to-be announced she was pregnant on Instagram over the weekend with a photo of her holding her growing baby bump at the beach. Cummins has not yet announced the pregnancy on his own Instagram page, with his most recent post being an action shot in his Kolkata Knight Riders gear.
Cummins has been a great performer for KKR, albeit with the bat, scoring a half-century in the ongoing tournament and almost helped KKR beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in one of the most thrilling encounters of the season.
Pat Cummins Buys $9.5 Million House
Pat Cummins was the most expensive foreign buy in IPL 2020 auction when Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) splurged Rs 15.50 crores (US$2.2 million) for him. Not only this, but he is also one of the most important members of the Australian leadership group and the vice-captain of the Australia Test team.
The couple recently sold their three-bedroom, three-bathroom Clovelly apartment in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for a whopping $3.7 million. Just last month, they splashed out on a lavish home in Bronte, also in the city’s eastern suburbs, for $9.5 million. The house features five bedrooms, a large backyard, and a pool.
The couple so far has received wishes from David and Candice Warner and fellow cricket WAGS Dani Willis, Amy Finch, and Bonnie Paine.
Meanwhile, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are struggling in the IPL 2021, and are placed at the last spot in the points table with one win from five matches. After playing their first five games in Chennai and Mumbai, the Kolkata-based franchise will travel to Ahmedabad for the next leg of the tournament and will face off against the Punjab Kings on April 26 in the 21st match of the tournament.
Kolkata registered their only win in their first match of the tournament against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Since then, they have lost to Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings, and Rajasthan Royals making it four defeats in four matches for the purple and gold outfit.
