Rishabh Pant's Two Over-Speeding Fines Still Unpaid: Reports

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was hurt in a tragic accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in the early hours of December 30 while en route from Roorkee to Delhi. A few days before the new year, the accident happened.

Pant fell asleep while driving a Mercedes SUV, which caused it to lose control and catch fire. Videos and CCTV footage were shared online after the horrible tragedy. The cricket player allegedly got a challan for going over the speed limit twice in Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Traffic Directorate has also notified cricketer Pant that the entire sum on the challan must be deposited. According to the notice, Rishabh Pant’s Mercedes (DL10CN1717) violated traffic regulations on February 22 at 11:30 p.m., according to Aaj Tak.

The roadside cameras captured the image of the vehicle moving at an excessive rate of speed. Pant was given a 2,000 rupee fine notice in connection with this under the Motor Vehicle Act, and it is currently pending.

This incident happened in the Mohammadpur Jat area of Roorkee. Rishabh Pant emerged from the vehicle after the crash, breaking the windscreen. In this, the locals backed him. The car then started to burn badly after that. After saving the injured Pant, the locals called 108 to request an ambulance, and Pant was driven to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee before being transferred to Max Hospital in Dehradun.
