Abhishek Sharma went past his Virat Kohli in the number of sixes hit this season. Against PBKS, he brought up his third fifty of the season and scored a brilliant 66 off 28 balls to keep his team in the chase.

He hit five fours and six sixes as he went past Virat Kohli's tally of 38 sixes in 2016. The southpaw is now on 39 sixes and has played his part in taking his team to victory against PBKS in their last league game. As of now, they have moved up to the second position on the points table with 17 points from 14 games.

Sharma, the youngster ended the league stage with 467 runs and joined an elite list of uncapped players who have scored more than 450 runs in the IPL. They managed to make it to the playoffs pulling off an incredible heist.
