Suryakumar, who walked out to bat at number four, played another magical innings for his team. The right-hander came to the ground after Mumbai Indians lost Ryan Rickelton and then took command of the game, slamming bowlers all over the park.

Not only this, Suryakumar also became the fastest Indian batter to score 4000 runs in the league. Overall, he became the third fastest to 4000 runs by balls in the history of the league, joining the likes of AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, David Warner, and Suresh Raina.

Kieron Pollard, who played for 13 years in the IPL, the right-hander slammed 3412 runs, whereas Suryakumar Yadav now has 3413 runs to his name in 106 IPL matches for Mumbai Indians. He would be keen to go past Rohit Sharma in the league.
