England all-rounder Liam Livingstone suffered a finger injury while fielding in the warm-up fixture against India and is looking doubtful to play in their opening T20 World cup game. England started off brilliantly in the warmup game with the openers high-flying from the start of the innings. Moeen Ali finished the innings splendidly, and England notched up 188 on the board in the warmup fixture.
In reply, India chased down the score with one over to spare, and the Indian openers were in sublime touch with the bat. Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul’s quickfire fifties won the game for India comfortably, and England will look back at the dropped catches as one of the reasons for their loss.

Moeen Ali mentioned that Livingstone is better and assured that he will be fine soon with the bruising on the back of the hand. He added that it was a scary moment at first as Livingstone is one of their key players on the side, and they wouldn’t have wanted any injury concern to him.
“I think he’s alright. I think it’s just bruising on the back of the hand but I think he’ll be fine. Obviously, it was a bit of a scare at the time but he said it was fine, so hopefully he’s all good,” Moeen Ali said.
