The 22-year-old South Africa National Cricket Team leg-spinner Nqabayomzi Peter pulled off the epic celebration of Team USA basketball star Stephen Curry in the second T20I of the four-match series against the India National Cricket Team at St George's Park in Gqeberha.
Nqabayomzi Peter did the ‘Night Night’ celebration of Stephen Curry after dismissing the explosive India batsman Rinku Singh on Sunday, November 10.

Nqabayomzi Peter turns Stephen Curry against India
The youngster Nqabayomzi Peter was sensational with the ball in the second T20I. He was very tight with his lines and lengths and troubled the Indian batters.
The Suryakumar Yadav & Co. found it very hard to play against the leg-spinner, and they were not able to score runs against him. Nqabayomzi Peter was very economical as he ended his 4-over spell by giving away just 20 runs and he also bagged one wicket of Rinku Singh.
On the second ball of the 16th over, Peter bowled a quick delivery on length, and Rinku Singh tried to smash a boundary. However, the Indian batter wasn't able to make a good connection with the ball and ended up top-edging it.
The ball went to the fielder standing at short fine leg - Gerald Coetzee - and he easily completed the catch. What caught the attention of many after the wicket was the celebration of Peter.
He did a go-to-sleep gesture like the famous professional wrestler CM Punk. However, it most likely was the emulation of the USA basketball star Stephen Curry's ‘Night Night’ celebration.

What captains said at the toss in the 2nd T20I?
Speaking at the toss, the Proteas skipper, Aiden Markram, stated that they were looking to bowl first with the aim to use moisture with the rain around. He said:
"We are going to bowl first again. With rain around, that's the obvious part. Hope the bowlers use the moisture. Kruger is out, Hendricks is in. We are not concerned about the outcome or result."
Meanwhile, India captain Suryakumar Yadav was disappointed after losing the toss but said that they would be looking to play an attacking brand of cricket in the first innings. He said:
"We wanted to bat first and play the same brand of cricket, happy with the things in the last match. You always learn something or the other in every game. We want to continue the good habits. No changes, playing with the same XI."
