Renne Ferguson, who is the woman at the centre of the Tim Paine sexting scandal, has been accused of sending messages of sexual nature and her nude pictures to the former Australia National Cricket Team Test captain Tim Paine’s brother-in-law.

Ferguson, who has allegedly been sexually harassed by four employees of Cricket Tasmania including the former Australian skipper Paine, has demanded nearly $1 million in damages from Cricket Tasmania.

However, according to Federal Court documents, Cricket Tasmania has completely denied the allegations of Renee Ferguson and accused her of initiating sexting.

Also, Ferguson has allegedly sent photos of her breasts, open mouth, and the penis of a man she was sleeping with to the former Aussie skipper’s brother-in-law Shannon Tubb, claims the defence to her lawsuit, as per the Herald Sun.

Also, she has been accused of sending a photo of her naked top half to Tubb, who was Cricket Tasmania’s high-performance coach at the time, saying she was ‘sore’ after a sexual encounter with another man. She had allegedly even asked Tubb to join her for a drink when she was with her female friend.

Meanwhile, Shannon Tubb has told the court that he and Ferguson were good friends and they have shared messages but the messages were mutually exchanged.

“Mr Tubb admitted that he and [Ms Ferguson] shared messages but said the messages were mutually exchanged and consensual in nature,” the court documents claimed.

“Mr Tubb said it started as office banter which escalated to more sexual messages and extended into non-work hours.”

“That [Ms Ferguson] continued her contact with Mr Tubb after she resigned appeared to [Cricket Tasmania] to be inconsistent with her claims to have been sexually harassed by him.”

Renne Ferguson had even claimed that she had informed other Cricket Tasmania staff about getting sexually harassed by the employees but she was simply ignored. However, Cricket Tasmania has countered her claims by saying that Ferguson’s email search history showed no complaints were made.

Cricket Tasmania’s investigation has found that Tubb ‘had not engaged in sexual harassment’ and Paine had not engaged in any ‘non-consensual or unsolicited’ conduct with Ferguson. Now the two parties – Ms Ferguson and Cricket Tasmania – are scheduled to undergo mediation on March 17.
