Australia’s stand-in captain Alyssa Healy warned England’s women’s cricket team not to underestimate them in the upcoming Women’s Ashes series. Alyssa Healy pointed out that they would fight despite having inexperienced players in their squad for the series.

Meg Lanning missed the upcoming series against England due to medical reasons and remained at home for treatment. Rachael Haynes announced her retirement from international cricket last year. Phoebe Litchfield is expected to make her Test debut at the top of the order.

Ahead of the one-off Test against England, Alyssa Healy pointed out that they have lost experience due to the absence of Meg Lanning and Rachael Haynes.

“I read the quote, and then I actually read the whole piece instead of just what she said, and it was actually a glowing endorsement for our group,” Healy said.

Alyssa Healy said that she is confident in their players’ abilities and hoped that the team would win matches on the tour.
