Yet another sad incident took place on the cricket turf in India. Recently, we came across a Bengal cricketer losing his life after colliding with the fellow cricketer while fielding. Meanwhile, a 24-year-old youngster, who suffered cardiac arrest has died on the field in Mumbai. The player was identified as Vaibhav Kesarkar.

Vaibhav Kesarkar was playing for a regional team when he suffered a heart attack on the field. He was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead by the doctors before the treatment could start.

It is learnt that Vaibhav was fielding for the Gavadevi Packers team in the tennis ball championship organized in the Bhandup area. He complained of chest pain during the match and was asked to leave the field.

Kesarkar was asked to sit on a chair outside the cricketing field, where his chest pain increased. It has furtherly made breathing hard for Vaibhav, who eventually lost his life. Before being dead, he was taken to the nearby hospital, where he once again suffered major cardiac arrest.

The doctors were helpless, as they failed to treat the youngster. It left his family and friends in a shock. Further, it comes to know that Vaibhav Kesarkar was the only individual supporting the family financially.

”He (Kesarkar) suffered chest pain while playing cricket and was brought to our hospital. Later, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was declared dead. His body was handed back to his family. It was a natural death,” said Dr Satyen Bhavsar, who owns the Bhavsar Hospital where the cricketer was rushed to from the playground.

However, it was an unfortunate incident that saw a family losing their favourite child. Hopefully, the family gets enough strength to overcome their loss and move on.
