England vs Australia 3rd Test of Ashes 2023 at Headingley was another nail-biting clash with both teams toiling hard to grab a victory. England managed to clinch victory by 3 wickets in the end while chasing 251. However, at one stage, the home side struggled at 161-5 on the scoreboard.

After watching ENG vs AUS 3rd Test, former BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter to hail Test cricket. He said that the last four exciting games prove why we need to preserve the longest format of the game.
“People keep questioning test cricket .. the last 4 test matches ..hope have shown everyone why we need to keep playing it and preserving at its best. It’s been just absolutely breathtaking to watch .. as good as any format any where in the world,” Sourav Ganguly, who recently turned 51, tweeted. Have a look at his tweet below.

All three Tests of Ashes 2023 have been entertaining so far. The 1st Test witnessed result on the final day; when Australia skipper Pat Cummins played a valuable knock to drive his team to victory by just 2 wickets. In the 2nd Test, Ben Stokes shattered a 155-run knock but narrowly missed chasing down the target for his team.
England Wins Headingley Test By 3 Wickets
Meanwhile, England made a stunning comeback by winning the 3rd Test of Ashes 2023. England chased down 251 in the 4th innings by 3 wickets, with an outstanding knock by young batter Harry Brook (75). The exciting match witnessed both teams dominating at some stage during the four days of the match.
With the victory, England has 1 win in their kitty in Ashes 2023. However, Australia leads the series 2-1 after three games. Both the teams will now lock horns in the 4th Test at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, set to begin on July 19.
