It was a brilliant tour for Indian National Cricket Team to Australia. Though the T20I series was a drawn affair, where rain played spoilsport for India, they have made a stunning comeback with a historic Test series victory. Giving icing on the cake, they have finished the tour with a sweet ODI series victory as well. Meanwhile, the former swashbuckling batsman Virender Sehwag reacts on it.

Virender Sehwag, in his tweet, ticked the boxes of Test and ODI series. Further, he also gave a witty line, which indicates that the tour of Australia has finished for the Indian team. Now, it is time to have a crack at Kiwis in shorter formats.

India won Test series in Australia for the First Time:

For the first time in the record books, India entered as the winner of the bilateral Test series in Australia. Virat Kohli-led side had delivered the goods with utmost determination and grit to bag the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.

There was a lot of stuff happened in the series. From the rise of Rishabh Pant to Cheteshwar Pujara’s scintillating show and then, the classic knocks of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in ODI format, everything went well for the Indian team.

Perhaps, India would have won the T20I series as well if the rain god allowed them to play in the second T20I. It was the game, where the target is pretty low and with the kind of form Dhawan was at that time, they would have made it a piece of cake.

All in all, it is what it is. They travelled, they showed their dominance and they conquered. Australians were mostly on the wrong side of things while India has got a lot of positives to fly back home. During the course, they have bagged quite a few memorable incidents as well.

The tour of Australia will always be one of the most cherished achievements for the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, head coach Ravi Shastri and Cheteshwar Pujara. Perhaps, Mahendra Singh Dhoni also signed off his final stint in Australia with a great memory.
