India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen ignoring the crowd when he was making his way to practice at the Sydney Cricket Ground, where India will lock horns with Australia in the first One Day International. Pandya went straight without paying any heed to the crowd’s call. In fact, generally Hardik Pandya likes to interact with his fans and he signs autographs and takes selfies with them.

However, it wasn’t to the case as Hardik Pandya is currently under the fire. Pandya made misogynist comments on Koffee with Karan and since then he has been under the scrutiny. In fact, the all-rounder’s comments landed him in the troubled waters and they were immature.

Pandya is in deep trouble.

Pandya also realised that his statements were disrespectful and he also apologised for the same. However, the damage had been already done.

“I made an appearance on the chat show where I have made certain statements without realising that these could be disrespectful and offend sensitivities of viewers for which I am sincerely regretful,” he wrote in his response, which is in PTI’s possession.

“I would like to assure you that there was no malice or any sort of ill-intent on my part to offend anyone or portray any section of the society in a bad light. The statements came out in the flow of the show. I had not comprehended the extent to which my statements would be found offensive,” he added.

Meanwhile, India and Australia will lock horns with each other on January 12 in the first match. However, one thing is for certain that there would be no place for Pandya and Rahul till the BCCI announces the verdict on them.

Here is the video in which Hardik Pandya ignores the Indian fans:
