Team India rode on Jasprit Bumrah’s five-wicket haul to be on the verge of bouncing back against England in the five-match Test series at Trent Bridge.

Meanwhile, the England middle-order put up a brilliant fight riding on Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler. The duo added 168 runs before England lost four wickets in the afternoon session of day four.

They dominated the afternoon session as India struggled to pick any wicket. the duo played some good looking shots and took the attack on the opposition. As a result, Buttler reached his debut hundred while Stokes scored yet another half-century.

Virat Kohli tried all his option before handing the ball to Jasprit Bumrah, who produced a magical spell on the evening session of day 4 at Trent Bridge. He bagged five wickets to take India on the verge of the win at Trent Bridge.

However, England tailenders showed enough grit to throw away their wickets. Adil Rashid first partnered Stuart Broad to stretch and then he and James Anderson took the game on day five.

In a bid to do so, he handed the ball to Jasprit Bumrah, who has been spectacular on the fourth day. Bumrah, in his returning spell, removed Broad to repay his captain’s trust. Bumrah bowls the away-angler in that fourth-stump zone and Broad dries his bat out. It took the outside edge and straight into the bucket hands of KL Rahul positioned at third slip.
