Greg Chappell Used To Conduct Long Meetings After Sacking Sourav Ganguly: Sehwag
During a recent show titled ’15 years of Incredible T20 League’ on Star Sports, Sehwag spoke about Chappell’s unusual practice of taking long meetings. Sharing the stage with fellow players like Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan Pathan, Virender Sehwag recalled that Chappell used to use long meetings after sacking Ganguly.
“When Greg Chappell became coach, we started having really long meetings. We used to sit for longer durations. When he removed Dada as captain and got another skipper, he began conducting long meetings”, Sehwag said.
To this, Ganuly replied that he did not know because he wasn’t part of those meetings. Later, Sehwag mentioned, “In Zimbabwe, Dada, Greg Chappell and Rahul Dravid played a lot of pool”. To this, Ganguly replied, “There he conducted meeting worth three years”.
