The 39-year old conceded that he discovered about his missing bat as soon as he landed at the Coimbatore Airport on an Indigo airlines flight. He further said in a statement that having last used it in a practice session in Juhu; he cannot conclude whether it is missing or stolen. The authorities have been contacted and have promised to have a look into the issue.

“As soon as we landed in Coimbatore, I saw that one bat was missing. I do not know about the whereabouts of my bat, I cannot say that it has been stolen. I don’t know whether it is related to the baggage thing or not, the bat is my primary thing. I play with that in the IPL. I last used it in a practice session in Juhu. I have complained to the authorities as the bat is important. Indigo guys have told me they would look into the matter, I hope they will do the needful.” Harbhajan said as quoted by ANI News.
