Hardik Pandya

The all-rounder is one of the finest players of the modern generation. In his brief career, he has proved time and again that why he is rated so highly. The team management and Virat Kohli backs him in all the formats. Hence his improvement can be seen vividly. He has a bundle of talent and has the ability to change the complexion of any game either with the bat or the ball especially in the limited overs format.

Pandya is one of the most dangerous lower middle order batsmen. Against spinners, he is simply unstoppable at times. In his brief international career, he has already smashed 4 different spinners for 3 consecutive sixes in international cricket. Even with the ball in hand, he is pretty impressive and is a wicket-taking option for Kohli. Though he tends to leak runs at times, he is still an asset to any team.

Just two years into his international career, Jasprit Bumrah has already established himself as the spearhead of the Indian pace attack in all 3 formats of the game. Bumrah is a skiddy customer who has the ability to unsettle any batsmen. Even in barren pitches, Bumrah has the ability to bowl the Yorkers and the slower deliveries quite consistently which has given him so many wickets in the past.

Bumrah has bowled the perfect line and length and with his pace, he can be a nightmare for any batting line-up on their day. He will be playing his first World Cup next year unless any injury halts his dream. However, if he is fit and raring to go, Bumrah might well turn out to be the trump card for the Men in Blue.

Kagiso Rabada

He is undoubtedly one of the finest bowlers of the modern generation. In a generation were producing fast bowlers has become few and far between, Rabada is one such guy who oozes class. In his brief ODI and Test career, Rabada just like Bumrah has gone on to be the spearhead of the bowling attack. He is a promising talent and one of the most genuine wicket takers for the Proteas team.

He has raw pace and has the ability to move the ball both ways. The speedster is a very important player for South Africa who will be aiming to win their maiden World Cup next year. Rabada has a bright future ahead of him. Especially after the retirement of AB de Villiers, he will have that extra responsibility to perform in the big event.

However, Kuldeep has to be careful of the fact that he tends to be inconsistent at times. He was quite spectacular for India in a couple of limited-overs matches against England. While he took 5 wickets in the 1st T20, he came back strongly with a 6 wicket haul in the opening ODI.

Kuldeep has combined pretty well with Yuzvendra Chahal and has pushed veteran spinners like Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja out of the team. The tournament will be played in England and Wales and Kuldeep’s experience of playing in the conditions just a few months ahead of the World Cup will be a huge plus.
