Before the start of the series, the England team was considered as hot favourites. It was expected that India will struggle in the English conditions as the distinct venues have a rich history of being bowling friendly.
However, things were opposite what actually was expected during the all-important tour.
A brief look at the ongoing tour:
Kuldeep Yadav has eventually grabbed the limelight for being the nightmare for English batters. Kuldeep became the hero of the first Twenty20 as he bamboozled England batting order.
However, things totally went exactly opposite in the second T20. Kuldeep received a severe beating from the English batsman which resulted that he got dropped from the third ODI.
In the ODI series, Kuldeep was the powerhouse again as India defeat convincingly in the first ODI.
But, unlike the second match of T20 series, Kuldeep maintained his phenomenal performance as he added another three wickets in his wickets tally. He once again dismantled England top order which included Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan, and Jonny Bairstow.
Iceland Cricket takes a dig at the England Team:
Generally speaking, cricket is not famous in the countries like Iceland and there are no talks regarding this game on the regular basis.
All this is because of weather conditions of such area but on mere conditions of weather, one can’t deny the passion of cricket fans. There are some areas in the Iceland where one can see the presence of cricket.
Iceland’s national cricket team player Kit Harris also came up with a post for chinaman Kuldeep regarding his first-class career. Not yet, he added a message for Kuldeep as well. He believes the left-arm Chinaman can add more wickets to his tally in the near future.
In a similar fashion, Iceland Cricket took to Twitter – to come up a similar kind of message for England. This one was full of wit as it takes an indirect dig at England’s national cricket team.
