51 days. 59 games. After witnessing a plethora of humdingers, damp squibs, heartbreaks, and some pulsating performances with both bat, ball as well as in the field, we are finally down to the summit clash of the Dream11 IPL 2020. And, the grand finale will see usual suspects in four-time champions Mumbai Indians square off against the first-time finalists in the Delhi Capitals in Dubai on Tuesday.
Mumbai Indians have been the best side of the tournament thus far. And that is not only because of the way they have dominated the competition, but it is also because of the fact that they have had different match-winners in almost every game. The last game that they played was a perfect example of why the defending champions are the most complete team in IPL 2020. In the first Qualifier, Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard registered ducks but still, the 4-time winners managed to get to 200 in 20 overs.
As far as their bowling is concerned, Delhi Capitals have had the first-hand taste of the potency that Mumbai Indian possess in their pacers department. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have wreaked havoc every time they have come up against the Capitals batting-unit. The only possible chink in Mumbai Indians’ armor is their third pacer and their spin-bowling department.
The final will also be a battle between two of the best pacers in the tournament in Jasprit Bumrah and Kagiso Rabada. Bumrah won the battle last time around while Rabada had a rare bad outing. But the South African fast bowler returned to form in the last match against SRH, and one gets the feeling that whoever wins the fast bowlers battle will go on to dominate the overall narrative of the game.
IPL 2020 Final: Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals: Match Prediction
Mumbai Indians have dominated Delhi Capitals in all three meetings this IPL. And, with the kind of depth that the defending champions boast of in every department, backing the 4-time winners to make it four in a row on Tuesday.
