But the climax arrived 10 runs later when a deadly bouncer from Jofra Archer caught Steve Smith off-guard. The Australian batsman dropped his eye to an almost 150 kmph delivery which hit him below his helmet in the neck. Twitter Reactions
Jofra Archer bowling unbelievably well but am I the only one who feels he should have shown a bit more care and compassion there? Not sure smiling with his teammates (obviously not about Smith but still not a good look) was the right thing there ?♂️

After seeing what occurred to Phillip Hughes, the look of Jofra Archer laughing at a batsmen in agony after a hit to the head, is as bad as it gets #ashes

I didn't expect this from England team..bad behaviour…

@JofraArcher not checking on Smith and laughing while the champ was down, is an ultimate shame to sportsmanship. #Ashes19 #AusvsEng pic.twitter.com/xdlWKJdtIL

Jofra Archer is a bad person. Who can forget how he made another Aussie batsman bleed on the ground in the WC19? Even then he didn't go to check on him. He did the same again, even worse by laughing. So cheap. Karma will come back for you Archer, sooner or later. #SteveSmith
