After the game, Ishan Kishan interviewed Nehal Wadhera and the duo were engaged in a hilarious conversation, with the keeper batter pulling the youngsters’ leg. He hilariously asked him about his celebration. Speaking in the video posted on IPL’s Twitter handle, he said:

“Ye last mein apne jb maara match easy ho gaya tha, sabko pata tha hum jeet rahe hain, aap helmet utaar ke kyun aise karne lage? (the last ball you hit, everyone knew we’re gonna win it, it was an easy course from there, then why did you gesture like that and took off your helmet?)”

Replying to this, Nehal Wahera, “It happened in the moment, the crowd was cheering so loud for us that it just happened naturally,” he added.

After MI’s win, Rohit Sharma addressed the win, he opened up about his side chasing 200 runs for the 3 time this season. He feels that batters are taking more risks and that’s why there are high-scoring games. He elaborated:

“The last four games we have seen excess of 200 has been scored. Most of the teams are taking risks and it is coming off. The batters are taking risks and 200 plus scores are being chased. The mindset of the batters is to do something special for the team and it is coming off as well.”
