Indian skipper Virat Kohli gave a fiery send-off to English all-rounder Ben Stokes after his dismissal in the first innings of the second T20I between India and England. Notably, both Virat and Stokes have been involved in heated exchanges every time the two have come against each other in multiple formats.
The tussle between the two began when Ben Stokes and Virat Kohli were involved in an argument during England’s 2016 tour of India in the Test series. Both the players did not directly involve in a tussle on the field but both the players used signs to humiliate each other. In the Test series this year too, both Virat and Stokes were involved in a verbal battle.

Team India Recover From Early Blow
The Indian Cricket Team looked in great control during the first innings of the game as the bowlers helped the team in restricting England to just 164 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Jason Roy once again top-scored for the visitors as he made 46 runs off 35 balls, but was once again sent to the pavilion by Washington Sundar.
The Indian team received a massive blow in the form of KL Rahul’s wicket as he was dismissed on a duck in the first over of the innings by Sam Curran as he was caught by Jos Buttler behind the wickets. However, the Indian team recovered from the early blow and Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli steadied the ship for the hosts.
