Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli might not have an IPL trophy to his name yet; however, is highly respected amongst his teammates. Virat Kohli is an aggressive captain, who is always on the hunt for wickets and is a brilliant fielder, setting the same template for his teammates. According to Yuzvendra Chahal, the 31-year old gives complete freedom to his bowlers.
RCB has so far won two out of three games in IPL 2020, emerging victorious closely against SunRisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. Yuzvendra Chahal, who is the first-choice spinner for them, has played in all three games and took five wickets so far. The Haryana-born leggie secured the man of the match against the SunRisers, ending up with figures of 4-0-18-3 to spark a dramatic turnaround.
“It’s been like 6 years now. Virat bhaiya has always been full of confidence. He always says you’re the captain of your bowling whatever field you want, just go with that and if it’s not working then we will go for plan B. As a bowler or a youngster, he gives you more confidence. Whether it’s Indian team or RCB, everyone has the liberty to set their own field,” Chahal stated as quoted by India Today.
Virat Kohli-led RCB to face Rajasthan Royals next:

After prevailing in the super over in Dubai against Mumbai Indians, RCB will move on to Abu Dhabi to face Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals made a thunderous start to their campaign by winning their first two games, including chasing down the highest total in IPL history. However, they suffered their first loss to Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday in Dubai.
