Dindigul Dragons are owned by Take Solutions and have been playing in the league since the inaugural season in 2016. They have won the tournament once in addition to finishing runners-up twice.

The Dragons began their journey in the TNPL in a strong fashion. They finished the league stage at the second spot with 5 wins from 7 games. Their campaign came to an end after they lost the semifinal against eventual winners Tuti Patriots.

They had a dismal campaign in the next season. The Dragons exited the competition at the league stage after managing to win just 2 of their 7 league games. In 2023, they once again qualified for the playoffs but failed to go all the way.

The Dragons finally clinched their maiden TNPL title in 2024. In the final, they faced two-time defending champions Kovai Kings and went on to win the game to secure their first title.
