Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has taken a sly dig at his old friend and former Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh after Pakistan beat India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. India and Pakistan faced each other in the T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and they elected to field first. What followed was a shambolic breakdown of the Indian batting lineup as Shaheen Shah Afridi wreaked havoc in the Indian top order as the in-form openers, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma went back to the dugout in the first 3 overs.

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, batted right until the very end to carry India a respectable total of 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, ahead of India vs Pakistan clash, had teased Shoaib Akhtar.

Speaking in a media conclave, Harbhajan Singh had asked Shoaib Akhtar to ask the Pakistan team to give the walkover to team India. After Pakistan thrashed the Men in Blue, Shoaib Akhtar was quick to respond.
